Coal City Community Unit School District 1 recently issued the following announcement.
Mrs. Alderson and Mrs. Anderson/Mrs. Conrad’s class has been having a blast celebrating the last 26 days of school with an “ABC Countdown” to Summer!
Last Monday, they celebrated “K” day with a “Kindness and Compliments” writing activity.
Students discussed character traits and how to give a good compliment, then broke off into groups to write individual compliments to their classmates.
Some students even wrote compliments to their friends in other classrooms and placed them in their lockers.
This activity spread many smiles across the room, along with a few laughs!
