Mazon-Verona-Kinsman Elementary School District 2C issued the following announcement on May 17.
The 7th grade class took their field trip to Camp Tuckabatchee this week.
The students were able to relate their experiences on the field trip to their learning in the classroom.
They observed how various life forms interact while on their hike through a deciduous forest.
MVK received a Biodiversity Grant this year through the Illinois Department of Natural Resources that covered a significant portion of the trip.
