Osf St. Elizabeth Hospital issued the following announcement on May 22.
On Friday, May 18, a blessing and dedication of the Eugene “Gene” Grobe Memorial Bench took place outside of the Tim Turnipseed Rehabilitation Center at OSF HealthCare Saint Elizabeth Medical Center.
“OSF Saint Elizabeth Physical Therapy and Rehab Services was like a second home for Gene," stated Holly Grobe, wife of the late Gene Grobe. "He would come home and say, they are going to get me dancing again.”
OSF HealthCare Foundation would like to thank the family and friends of Gene Grobe for their generous donations to OSF HealthCare Foundation and OSF Saint Elizabeth Physical Therapy and Rehab Services.
