Standard Fire Protection District responded to 13 calls in 2017 - 45.8 percent less than the previous year, according to data from the National Fire Incident Reporting System.

The calls in Standard included nine fires - five structure fires, one vehicle fire and three other fires. The fire department also responded to one call for ruptures, explosions or overheating.

In all, the department saw $30,000 in fire loss - or about $3,333 per fire.

The department also received three false calls.

The Standard Fire Protection District had an annual budget of $82,318 in 2017.
