How much has Saratoga CCSD 60C overspent over the past 10 years?

Saratoga Community Consolidated School District 60C accumulated $7.67 million in debt between fiscal years 2008 and 2017, according to a Illinois Valley Times analysis of public schools data.

Spending and revenue data obtained for this analysis comes from the Illinois Local Education Agency Retrieval Network (ILEARN), which is part of the Illinois State Board of Education and collects data annually on school district financials.

Over the 10-year span, Saratoga CCSD 60C reported 27.1 percent more revenue. At the same time, total spending went down 42.1 percent.
