Mubadalaibm

City of Lasalle issued the following announcement on July 31.

"A Photographic Review of the Middle East: Israel" at the La Salle Public Library. On Tuesday, July 31st at 6:00 p.m., the La Salle Public Library will host Historian, Researcher, and Traveler, Mark Walczynski, when he presents the second in a series of programs entitled, "A Photographic Review of the Middle East." This program focuses on Israel.

The land once called Palestine, that includes today's State of Israel, is an interesting yet much-misunderstood place. Israel is home to many diverse ethnic, tribal, and religious traditions including groups such as Druze, Bedouin, Arab, and even Russian. From ancient archaeological sites to colorful markets, Israel is a fascinating place to visit.

This program is free and open to the public. For more information, contact the Library at 815-223-2341.
