Osf St. Elizabeth Hospital issued the following announcement on Aug. 1.
A community open house is planned for 1-3 p.m. on Sunday, August 19 at the new OSF HealthCare Medical Group office, 107 Watters Street in Dwight. Tours will be available. Attendees are being asked to bring a school supply item to be donated to Dwight schools for children in need.
The new office opened to patients on July 16 and features nine exam rooms, physical therapy, medical imaging, expanded office hours, and early access for laboratory testing. OSF HealthCare has provided health care services in Dwight for almost 30 years and moved to this location from a facility on John Street.
Maulin Shah, D.O., and Advanced Practice Nurse Carrie Cullick are the office’s Family Medicine providers, caring for patients of all ages. Areas of special interest include hypertension, diabetes management and sports medicine. Both are accepting new patients. Appointments can be scheduled by calling (815) 584-3343.
