Illinois Valley Community Hospital issued the following announcement on Aug. 3.
Lisa Lynch is the new chief financial officer at Illinois Valley Community Hospital in Peru.
A resident of Peru and an IVCH employee since 1999, Lynch held the positions of controller, Six Sigma Black Belt, director of organizational effectiveness and assistant vice president for the revenue cycle at the hospital.
A certified public accountant, Lynch worked for Unytite, Inc., and for a public accounting firm before coming to IVCH.
Lynch’s undergraduate degree is from Augustana College in Rock Island, where she had a dual major in accounting and business administration finance. She has a master’s degree in health administration from Ohio University and is a fellow of the Healthcare Financial Management Association.
Lynch is a member of the LaSalle Rotary Club and a former member of the boards of directors for the United Way of Illinois Valley and the Business Employment Skills Team, Inc.
