CITY OF OTTAWA: Temporary Help Wanted

Hiring

City of Ottawa issued the following announcement on Oct. 11.

The City of Ottawa’s Public Works Department is looking for workers to help with the City’s annual leaf-vac program that is expected to begin in early November.

Applicants must be 17 years or older, have a photo ID, a Social Security card and be a resident of Ottawa. Work hours will be weekdays 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. for a period not to exceed more than 29 work days.

Applications can be picked up at City Hall, 301 West Madison Street or the City’s Public Works building at 425 West Jackson Street. They must be returned by Friday, October 19, 2018.
