Illinois Valley Community Hospital issued the following announcement on Oct. 10.
The ins and outs of the Medicare system will be explained at a free Illinois Valley Community Hospital seminar at 2 p.m. Friday, October 19, in the IVCH room at Peru Mall.
Managed Care Partners representative Keith Leitzen’s talk is entitled “The ABC’s of Medicare.” He’ll discuss Medicare benefits and explain the options older adults have when enrolling in Medicare.
This year’s enrollment period for Medicare prescription drug coverage and Medicare Advantage plans is October 15 through December 7.
