Governor race: Democrat Pritzker wins voter tally in Wheatland Township

JB Pritzker led Republican Bruce Rauner in votes cast in Wheatland Township for the gubernatorial race, according to the latest vote count.

Pritzker appeared to outpace Rauner by a margin of 5 percent on Tuesday in the township.

In comparison, the 2014 winner, Republican Bruce Rauner, won by a margin of 33.9 percent in that jurisdiction, beating Democrat Pat Quinn, who received 6,880 votes to Rauner's 14,125.
