City of Lasalle issued the following announcement on Jan. 31.
Due to the extreme cold temperatures Republic Services will not be operating Thursday January 31st. All facilities will be closed and all services will be a day late. Today’s material will be serviced Friday, Thursday’s material will be serviced Saturday. Republic Services will make every attempt to service Friday’s material Saturday as well. Material that cannot be collected on Saturday will be serviced on Monday along with the regular Monday’s service route.
