CITY OF PRINCETON: Garbage Pick Up Notice

Garbagecollection

City of Princeton issued the following announcement on Jan. 29.

The City of Princeton is announcing that there will be NO curbside garbage or recycling pick-up on Tuesday, January 29, 2019, Wednesday, January 30, 2019, nor Thursday, January 31, 2019.

The garbage routes for Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday will be picked up the following week on their normal pick up days: Tuesday, February 5, 2019, Wednesday, February 6, 2019, and Thursday, February 7, 2019, respectively. Residents will be permitted to put out a double load of four (4) containers instead of two (2) containers on that date. No garbage stickers will be required for the extra two containers.

This change is being announced due to the poor weather forecast of sustained near-record low temperatures and due to manpower safety concerns. The garbage route for Friday, February 1, 2019 will run. Thank you for your cooperation.
