Report: Hall spent $17,946 per student in 2017-18

Spending per pupil at Hall Township High School District 502 is up 19.3 percent from five years ago, according to a Illinois Valley Times analysis of district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2017-18 report card shows the Bureau County school district spent $15,049 per pupil in 2013-14. It spent $17,946 in 2017-18.

The district saw its enrollment rise over the same period, from 397 to 438.

Hall's spending in 2017-18 was 34.6 percent higher than the state average of $13,337.
