Report: Miller Township spent $10,260 per student in 2017-18

Spending per pupil at Miller Township Community Consolidated School District 210 is up 10.9 percent from five years ago, according to a Illinois Valley Times analysis of district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2017-18 report card shows the La Salle County school district spent $9,255 per pupil in 2013-14. It spent $10,260 in 2017-18.

The district saw its enrollment fall over the same period, from 218 to 187.

Miller Township's spending in 2017-18 was 23.1 percent lower than the state average of $13,337.
