Report: La Salle-Peru spent $13,847 per student in 2017-18

Spending per pupil at La Salle-Peru Township High School District 120 is up 10.8 percent from five years ago, according to a Illinois Valley Times analysis of district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2017-18 report card shows the La Salle County school district spent $12,495 per pupil in 2013-14. It spent $13,847 in 2017-18.

The district saw its enrollment fall over the same period, from 1266 to 1231.

La Salle-Peru's spending in 2017-18 was 3.8 percent higher than the state average of $13,337.
