Report: Ladd spent $9,536 per student in 2017-18

Spending per pupil at Ladd Community Consolidated School District 94 is up 11.8 percent from five years ago, according to a Illinois Valley Times analysis of district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2017-18 report card shows the Bureau County school district spent $8,530 per pupil in 2013-14. It spent $9,536 in 2017-18.

The district saw its enrollment fall over the same period, from 237 to 212.

Ladd's spending in 2017-18 was 28.5 percent lower than the state average of $13,337.
