Report: Grand Ridge spent $13,792 per student in 2017-18

Spending per pupil at Grand Ridge Community Consolidated School District 95 is up 29.2 percent from five years ago, according to a Illinois Valley Times analysis of district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2017-18 report card shows the La Salle County school district spent $10,674 per pupil in 2013-14. It spent $13,792 in 2017-18.

The district saw its enrollment fall over the same period, from 273 to 200.

Grand Ridge's spending in 2017-18 was 3.4 percent higher than the state average of $13,337.
