City of Ottawa issued the following announcement on Feb. 18.
With the help of a few hardworking volunteers yesterday we were able to keep the ice rink open and clear of snow with a final clearing last night around 10.
Pleased to announce the rink will open on schedule at 7 a.m. today. EVERYONE SKATES
