Unpaid fine for Spring Valley-based campaign committee totaled $5,000 in August 2018

One campaign committee in Spring Valley has an overdue fine of $5,000, records obtained by the Illinois Valley Times show.

A detailed review of individual fines revealed that Committee for Frank J. Mautino was the only campaign committee in Spring Valley that was delinquent in payment for August 2018, according to the Illinois State Board of Elections.

The fine that Committee for Frank J. Mautino has yet to pay was imposed on May 18, 2017, for failure to comply.
