Streator Chamber Of Commerce issued the following announcement on March 14.
A concert to benefit the Voices in Harmony Fund, a new fund at SRCCF dedicated to raising a new awareness for Barbershop singing throughout Starved Rock Country. The goal of the Fund is to raise enough money to create at least one new youth Barbershop group in Starved Rock Country; provide middle school and high school choral students the opportunity to learn the art of singing Barbershop harmony; provide financial support for education, training and continued performance opportunities for harmony groups throughout our region; and encourage the resurrection of an adult Barbershop group.
