South Wilmington home prices rise in the third quarter of 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in the third quarter of 2018 in South Wilmington rose by $51,450 while total sales decreased by 50%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through September of 2018, there were four homes sold, with a median sale price of $102,450 - a 100.9% increase over the $51,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were eight homes sold in South Wilmington in the third quarter of 2017.

The median sales tax in South Wilmington for the most recent year with available data, 2017, was $2,757.60, approximately 2.7% of the median home sale price for the third quarter of 2018.
