Tonica home prices rise in the second quarter of 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in the second quarter of 2018 in Tonica rose by $18,600 while total sales increased by 66.7%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From April through June of 2018, there were five homes sold, with a median sale price of $73,500 - a 33.9% increase over the $54,900 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were three homes sold in Tonica in the second quarter of 2017.

The median sales tax in Tonica for the most recent year with available data, 2017, was $2,664.10, approximately 3.6% of the median home sale price for the second quarter of 2018.
