Seneca (LaSalle County) home prices unchanged in the second half of 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in the second half of 2017 in Seneca in LaSalle County was unchanged while total sales decreased by 22.2%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through December of 2017, there were 21 homes sold, with a median sale price of $150,000. There were 27 homes sold in Seneca in the second half of 2016, and the median sales price for the period was also $150,000.

The median sales tax in Seneca for 2017 was $2,566. In 2016, the median sales tax was $2,570. This marks an decrease of 0.1%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 1.7%.
