Seneca (LaSalle County) home prices rise in the second half of 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in the second half of 2018 in Seneca in LaSalle County rose by $12,500 while total sales increased by 42.9%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through December of 2018, there were 30 homes sold, with a median sale price of $162,500 - a 8.3% increase over the $150,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 21 homes sold in Seneca in the second half of 2017.

The median sales tax in Seneca for the most recent year with available data, 2017, was $2,566, approximately 1.6% of the median home sale price for the second half of 2018.
