McNabb home prices rise in 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in 2017 in McNabb rose by $2,000 while total sales decreased by 20%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through December of 2017, there were four homes sold, with a median sale price of $82,000 - a 2.5% increase over the $80,000 median sale price for the previous year. There were five homes sold in McNabb in 2016.

The median sales tax in McNabb for 2017 was $1,544. In 2016, the median sales tax was $1,555. This marks an decrease of 0.8%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 1.9%.
