Seneca (LaSalle County) home prices rise in June 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in June 2017 in Seneca in LaSalle County rose by $11,750 while total sales decreased by 50%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In June 2017, there were four homes sold, with a median sale price of $140,500 - a 9.1% increase over the $128,750 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were eight homes sold in Seneca in June 2016.

The median sales tax in Seneca for 2017 was $2,566. In 2016, the median sales tax was $2,570. This marks an decrease of 0.1%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 1.8%.
