LaSalle home prices rise in August 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in August 2017 in LaSalle rose by $19,000 while total sales increased by 23.1%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In August 2017, there were 16 homes sold, with a median sale price of $68,000 - a 38.8% increase over the $49,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 13 homes sold in LaSalle in August 2016.

The median sales tax in LaSalle for 2017 was $1,998. In 2016, the median sales tax was $1,955. This marks an increase of 2.2%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 2.9%.
