Ottawa home prices rise in July 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in July 2018 in Ottawa rose by $12,250 while total sales increased by 5.6%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In July 2018, there were 38 homes sold, with a median sale price of $107,500 - a 12.9% increase over the $95,250 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 36 homes sold in Ottawa in July 2017.

The median sales tax in Ottawa for the most recent year with available data, 2017, was $3,169, approximately 2.9% of the median home sale price for July 2018.
