Diamond (Grundy County) home prices rise in the first quarter of 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in the first quarter of 2019 in Diamond in Grundy County rose by $71,250 while total sales decreased by 14.3%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through March of 2019, there were six homes sold, with a median sale price of $251,250 - a 39.6% increase over the $180,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were seven homes sold in Diamond in the first quarter of 2018.

The median sales tax in Diamond for the most recent year with available data, 2017, was $3,406, approximately 1.4% of the median home sale price for the first quarter of 2019.
