Ottawa home prices rise in the first quarter of 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in the first quarter of 2019 in Ottawa rose by $25,500 while total sales decreased by 41.8%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through March of 2019, there were 32 homes sold, with a median sale price of $125,500 - a 25.5% increase over the $100,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 55 homes sold in Ottawa in the first quarter of 2018.
