City of Ottawa issued the following announcement on May 24.
Due to the upcoming construction of the Anthony Place Housing Development in downtown Ottawa, the city of Ottawa has been advised that contractors will need to eliminate parking adjacent to the project block. Beginning Tuesday, May 28, 2019 fencing will be installed preventing on-street parking during the approximate 10 month construction period at the following locations:
The north side of the 300 block of West Madison Street between Clinton Street and Fulton Street
The east side of the 700 block of Fulton Street between West Madison Street and West Jefferson Street
The south side of the 300 block of West Jefferson Street between Clinton Street and Fulton Street
The west side of the 700 block of Clinton Street between West Madison Street and West Jefferson Street
First National Bank customers will continue to have access to the bank’s drive-up facility by using the West Madison Street entrance that exits onto Clinton Street
