Ottawa home prices rise in April 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in April 2019 in Ottawa rose by $45,500 while total sales decreased by 93.3%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In April 2019, there were two homes sold, with a median sale price of $175,000 - a 35.1% increase over the $129,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 30 homes sold in Ottawa in April 2018.

The median sales tax in Ottawa for the most recent year with available data, 2017, was $3,169, approximately 1.8% of the median home sale price for April 2019.
