The data shows that 26 men and five women were released in Streator. The median age of the parolees was 33. The youngest parolee was a 20-year-old man sentenced for a crime against a person in 2017, and the oldest was a 61-year-old man sentenced for a property crime in 2005.
The offender who had been incarcerated the longest was Jason W. Pruitt. He was convicted of a crime involving drugs in 2004 when he was 32 years old. He is now 47.
Under state law, paroled offenders are still in legal custody of the IDOC, meaning they can be taken back to a correctional center at any time if the state has probable cause or a warrant.
