Q3 2018 Parolees Recap: Who was paroled in Putnam County?

There were two offenders released on parole during that live in Putnam County, according to Illinois Department of Corrections data obtained by Illinois Valley Times.

The data shows that both of the released offenders in Putnam County were men. The younger parolee was a 25-year-old man sentenced for a crime against a person in 2016. The other was a 25-year-old man sentenced for a crime against a person in 2016.

The offender who had been incarcerated the longest was Brock Y. Jeffery. He was convicted of a crime against justice in 2016 when he was 22 years old. He is now 25.

Under state law, paroled offenders are still in legal custody of the IDOC, meaning they can be taken back to a correctional center at any time if the state has probable cause or a warrant.

The table below gives a breakdown of how many offenders were paroled in the third quarter in each Putnam County municipality.
