Illinois State Rep. Jeff Keicher (R-DeKalb) recently toured the Advanced Drainage Systems (ADS) facility in Mendota, learning more about why ADS selected Mendota for its plant operations.
Central to maintaining water management systems, ADS manufactures high performance thermoplastic corrugated pipe and related products as part of its array of water management products and drainage solutions that are used in construction and infrastructure industries, according to ADS’ website. Operating in Mendota since June 2017, ADS continues to add value and thrive in the Mendota community.
“When asked why they chose this location for their business, they cited how access to both Interstate 39 and Interstate 80 allows them to easily move product anywhere from their Mendota plant,” Keicher said. “This underscores the importance of why having good infrastructure is a vital part of making Illinois attractive to international businesses like ADS.”
