Sen. Chuck Weaver will host another Coffee and Conversation event free to the public in Walnut
Illinois Sen. Chuck Weaver (R-Peoria) will host a free Coffee and Conversation event from 8-9 a.m. July 25 at Konz Restaurant in Walnut.
The public is welcome to come in and talk with Weaver over coffee about any state or local issues they may be facing in their community.
“We hope to see a big turnout on July 25 in Walnut,” Weaver said. “During the spring legislative session, action was taken on several important issues, some of which were very controversial … bring your family and friends, and let’s talk about it.”
This event is only one of a series of Coffee & Conversation discussions that have been occurring. Weaver more recently hosted others at The Woodhull Travel Plaza in Woodhull and The Phenix Township Building in Geneseo, both in June. Future discussions have already been scheduled in Knoxville and Wyoming for September.
