Bureau Valley District #340 Board of Education met May 9.

Determining that a quorum was present, President Yepsen called the special meeting to order at 5:00 pm and directed the Secretary to call the roll.
ROLL CALL
PRESENT: Dye, Johnson, Maynard, Olds, Spencer, Wiggim, Yepsen
ABSENT: None
There was no Public Comment.
It was moved by Wiggim and seconded by Maynard to approve the employment of Jason Stabler as Bureau Valley Superintendent beginning July 1, 2019.

NAYS: None
MOTION CARRIED 7-0-0 Absent
Yepsen mentioned that if anything is needed from Mr. Stabler between now and July 1st, Mr. Stabler would be paid on a daily rate. Maybe in June, Mr. Stabler could work with Mrs. Harper to make the transition.
It was moved by Maynard and seconded by Johnson to adjourn the meeting at 5:05 p.m.
