City of Princeton issued the following announcement on Aug. 20.
The Fire Department, City of Princeton is accepting proposals for the purchase of one (1) 2019 Type I Ambulance
Specifications cover an ambulance built on a Four-Wheel Drive pick-up truck style chassis. By definition as set forth by the General Services Administration Specification KKK-A-1822-F, Type I Ambulance
Bids must be enclosed in a three (3) ring binder marked “2019 Ambulance Bid Package”
Bids will be accepted in the office of the City Clerk, 2 S. Main St, Princeton, IL 61356, no later than Friday, September 13th at 8:30AM. Bids will be opened on Friday, September 13th at 9:00AM.
Copies of the specifications are available at the Offices of the City Clerk and the Princeton Fire Department, 2 S. Main St, Princeton, IL 61356
Ambulance is to be bid with trade-in. Trade-In ambulance is as follows:

The Princeton Fire Department, City of Princeton, reserves the right to reject any and all bids and accept that proposal which in their opinion is the most advantageous from a standpoint of design, maintenance, service, features and cost.
