Veteran state Rep. Tom Demmer (R-Dixon) is committed to doing all he can to keep business leaders of his community informed about the laws they have to operate under.
Demmer recently convened with local leaders to update them about the “mixed bag” of bills that were signed by Gov. J.B. Pritzker during the last legislative session.
Demmer’s speech included lamenting the minimum wage bill that was passed without input from Republicans, as well as a tip of the hat for the bipartisanship that led to "agreement on a full-year balanced budget, money set aside to pay down bills and other key business reforms."
Demmer also made sure to allow constituents to have their say, following up his talk with a Q&A session with audience members.
