Illinois Valley Community Hospital issued the following announcement on Sept. 4.
Jessica Brucki is a nurse in IVCH’s surgery department. She was nominated for Employee of the Month by Michelle Salas the Director of Perioperative Services. Salas writes, “I would like to nominate Jess because she always is willing to stay late, come in early, and take call for the department when we are experiencing staffing issues. Jess has taken on the role of not just learning to be a Scrub RN but she has crossed trained to circulating and has done both roles to cover shortages, even on call. Jess is currently going for her FNP and today she changed her mandatory clinical hours to cover a scrub shortage due to an illness.” Congratulations Jessica! Your dedication to IVCH is so appreciated!
