City of Ottawa issued the following announcement on Sept. 10.
Contractors for the Anthony Place senior housing project located at 727 Clinton Street have advised that the portion of West Madison Street between Clinton and Fulton Streets will be closed to all traffic from 5:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 12, 2019 for storm sewer connection work.
North and southbound traffic lanes on both Clinton and Fulton Streets at their intersection with Madison Street are not expected to be affected. Access to the First National Bank drive-up facility at 300 West Madison will remain available.
The block will be reopened to all traffic as soon as the connection is completed and all equipment is removed from the right-of-way.
