City of Ottawa issued the following announcement on Sept. 30.
Contractors for a construction project at the downtown Lasalle County court house have advised that Court Street parking will be limited beginning Monday, September 30, 2019 at 6:00 a.m.
There will be no parking allowed on the entire west side of Court Street between West Main and West Madison Streets until the project is completed Wednesday morning.
Thru traffic and parking on the east side of Court Street will remain open but may be intermittently stopped for the crane to move. Contractors will assist with traffic control in that area during the day as needed. Drivers are asked to use caution when traveling thru or parking in that block during the project.
The work is to be completed and all equipment removed from Court Street by 7:00 a.m. on Wednesday, October 2, 2019 when all parking spaces in the block are expected to become available.
