Bureau Valley Community Unified School District 340 Board of Education met Sept. 30.

Determining that a quorum was present, President Yepsen called the special meeting to order at 5:00 p.m. and directed the Secretary to call the roll.

There was no public comment.
It was moved by Maynard and seconded by Johnson to enter into executive session at 5:03 p.m. for the following reason: Student disciplinary cases.

Motion Carried 6-0-1 Absent
It was moved by Johnson and seconded by Maynard to close the executive session at 5:30 p.m. and return to open session.

It was moved by Spencer and seconded by Wiggim that Student #356 be expelled from the Bureau Valley CUSD #340 beginning immediately and running through the end of the 2019- 2020 school year for having engaged in gross disobedience or misconduct; also a recommendation for alternative school placement.
