City of Ottawa issued the following announcement on Dec. 11.
Due to the cold weather and freezing temperatures, Ottawa Commissioner Marla Rodriguez has been advised the leaf drop-off dumpsters will be removed from their West Jackson Street location on Friday, December 13, 2019 for the season.
The contractors disposal site is closing this week for the year but the City anticipates the units being returned to West Jackson Street when the weather permits in the Spring.
