Ransom home prices rise in 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in 2019 in Ransom rose by $21,500 while total sales decreased by 50%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through December of 2019, there were three homes sold, with a median sale price of $94,000 - a 29.7% increase over the $72,500 median sale price for the previous year. There were six homes sold in Ransom in 2018.

The median sales tax in Ransom for the most recent year with available data, 2017, was $1,621, approximately 1.7% of the median home sale price for 2019.
