Seneca (LaSalle County) home prices fall in the second half of 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in the second half of 2019 in Seneca in LaSalle County fell by $14,500 while total sales decreased by 50%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through December of 2019, there were 15 homes sold, with a median sale price of $148,000 - a 8.9% decrease over the $162,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 30 homes sold in Seneca in the second half of 2018.

The median sales tax in Seneca for the most recent year with available data, 2017, was $2,566, approximately 1.7% of the median home sale price for the second half of 2019.
