Ottawa home prices fall in October 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in October 2019 in Ottawa fell by $76,000 while total sales decreased by 93.3%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In October 2019, there were three homes sold, with a median sale price of $40,000 - a 65.5% decrease over the $116,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 45 homes sold in Ottawa in October 2018.

The median sales tax in Ottawa for the most recent year with available data, 2017, was $3,169, approximately 7.9% of the median home sale price for October 2019.
