City of La Salle Streets, Alleys and Traffic Committee met Jan. 13.
Here is the minutes provided by the committee:
Chairman Bacidore called the meeting to order at 6:08 p.m.
Present- Alderman Bacidore, Alderman Ptak, Alderman Reynolds, Alderman Jeppson, Alderman Lavieri, Alderman Crane, Alderman Herndon
Absent- None
Others Present: Alderman Demes
A quorum was present. In regard to installing some type of traffic control at 6th and Crosat Streets, Chairman Bacidore explained that according to Chief Uranich he went back two years and the only accident at that intersection was the one that occurred recently. A vote was taken and all aldermen were in favor of leaving the intersection as is.
In regard to the request for a street light at St. Vincent and Ator Drive, the committee decided to hold off at this time in order to get pricing and location suggestions from Ameren. It was also suggested that the City look into pricing for the installation of a street light at St. Vincent and the entrance to Vermilionvue subdivision.
The meeting was adjourned at 6:15 p.m.
