City of Peru Committee of the Whole met Feb. 17.

Here is the minutes provided by the committee:

A Committee Of A Whole meeting was called to order by Mayor Scott J. Harl in the Peru City Council Chambers on Monday, February 17, 2020 at 6:30 p.m.

Deputy City Clerk Stephanie Piscia called the roll with Aldermen Ferrari, Waldorf, Lukosus, Radtke, Payton, Ballard and Buffo present; Alderman Sapienza absent; Mayor Harl present.

MINUTES

Mayor Harl presented the Committee Of A Whole Minutes of February 5, 2020. Alderman Payton made a motion that the minutes be received and placed on file. Alderman Buffo seconded the motion; motion carried.

CLOSED SESSION

Mayor Harl asked for a motion to go into closed session. Alderman Waldorf made a motion to go into closed session to discuss meetings where the purchase or lease of real property for the use of the public body is being considered, including meetings held for the purpose of discussion whether a particular parcel should be acquired, or where the public body is considering the setting of a price for sale or lease of its property. Alderman Lukosus seconded the motion. Deputy Clerk Stephanie Piscia called the roll with Aldermen Ferrari, Waldorf, Lukosus, Radtke, Payton, Ballard and Buffo voting aye; Alderman Sapienza absent; motion carried.

Closed session began at 6:37 p.m.; ended 6:55 p.m.

Alderman Ferrari made a motion to re-open the meeting at 7:00 p.m. Alderman Buffo seconded the motion. Deputy City Clerk Stephanie Piscia called the roll with Aldermen Ferrari, Waldorf, Lukosus, Radtke, Payton, Ballard and Buffo present; Alderman Sapienza absent; Mayor Harl present.

ADJOURNMENT

Alderman Ferrari made a motion that the meeting be adjourned. Alderman Buffo seconded the motion and motion carried. Meeting adjourned 7:01 p.m.
